2.1

Written and oral analysis of case studies.

Instructors will require written and oral works by the student.  The instructor will evaluate these works against the writing and oral rubrics and then place the report in the department assessment file.

The instructor will make copies of the written work from their class and put them in the department writing file.

The department will review the work and evaluate the work against the writing/oral  rubrics.  The evaluations will then be reviewed by the dept and statistical analysis will be performed

Department faculty and administration.

Final written report will be included in the department's annual report and forwarded to the Provost's office by May 15.

The department will dedicate four meetings per year to assessment.

2.2

Oral Presentation and debates.

Instructors will require oral presentations and debates of the student.  The instructor use the oral presentation and debate rubrics to evaluate these works  and then place the findings in the department assessment file.
